Mrs Babicz can be found in the office by the main entrance.

Miss Mewett can be found in Oak Class. This is the first class on the right as you go upstairs.

 

Deputy Safeguarding Lead – Alex Loveday – EYFS Lead

Mr Love day can be found in Willow Class. This is the first class on the left as you go upstairs or in Honeybees Preschool.

If you have a concern about a child or member of our school community, you can speak to our Designated Safeguarding Lead.  Alternatively, any member of the public can make a referral (or self referral) to the Single Point of Advice (SPOA) who can advise on a range of child protection issues.  Their number is 01323  464222.

What should I do if I have a safeguarding concern?

Concerns about Children or Young People

  • If you have any concerns relating to Child Protection or Safeguarding, please contact one of the schools designated officers immediately.  

 

Visiting the school?

 

  • If you are a visitor to the school and need to report a concern, please contact the DSL on head@northiam.school 
  • If a child or other person is at any immediate risk of harm, the first response should always be to call the police on 999. This policy applies to all adults, including volunteers, working in or on behalf of Northiam Primary School and the DCAT.

  • If you have a concern about a member of staff or a volunteer, please contact the headteacher or alternatively contact a member of the Trust DSL team
