Ashford STEM Day!

We are incredibly proud of some of the children from Chestnut Class who recently represented our school at the Ashford STEM Day. It was a day full of innovation, teamwork, and hands-on learning as our young engineers collaborated with Richard, our visiting engineer, to design and build their very own working cars.

The excitement was palpable as the children tested their creations, explored the designs of other schools, and even took part in interviews with professional engineers. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and problem-solving skills were on full display throughout the day.

A special congratulations goes to Effie, who impressed the judges and proudly brought home an award—what an achievement!

Well done to all the children who took part. You were fantastic ambassadors for our school, and we can’t wait to see where your STEM journey takes you next!
