Chestnut Class have had a very busy and exciting week of learning!

In English, the children have been working incredibly hard on writing their newspaper reports. They have been absolute superstars and produced some fantastic hot writes this week. We are so proud of the effort, creativity, and focus they have shown.

In Maths, we have begun our new unit on fractions. The children have been ordering fractions and developing their understanding of denominators, using a range of concrete resources to support their learning.

In French, the children have been learning about colours and shapes, practising new vocabulary and pronunciation with great enthusiasm.

In PSHE, we have been exploring our local community, thinking about the people and places that help make it a special place to live.It has certainly been a busy week, and the children have impressed us with their enthusiasm and commitment across all subjects.
