Copper Beech Visit Hampton Court Palace
Copper Beech had a fantastic time at Hampton Court yesterday! The children took part in an exciting workshop where they learned all about the hierarchy of the Tudor court. They explored the magnificent Tudor kitchens and the wine cellar, discovering the very different diets enjoyed by the rich and the poor during that period.
A real highlight of the day was enjoying lunch in King Henry VIII’s wardrobe – a memorable experience for everyone! The class also visited the beautiful chapel where both Anne Boleyn and King Henry once prayed, and even saw the seats where they would have sat.
To finish the day, the children enjoyed a walk through the King’s favourite hunting grounds, where they were lucky enough to spot deer roaming freely.
