Oak Class Clay Tiles
This term we having been learning how to shape and decorate clay, create a pinch pot, design and make a clay tile with house features.
The pupils worked hard to bring their designs to life, paying attention to the details and using the techniques they learned. Some chose to add texture by pressing different tools into the clay, while others experimented with carving and imprinting patterns. The process was not only about creativity but also about patience and precision as the children worked through each step of making their tiles.
This project has been a wonderful opportunity for the children to express themselves artistically while gaining a deeper understanding of sculptural art, design, and craftsmanship.
