Willow class try salt Firework Painting!

In Willow Class, the children have been learning all about the numbers 1, 2, and 3 in Maths. They have been exploring different ways to represent each number using objects, pictures, and number formations. The class has been practising subitising, quickly recognising small quantities without counting, through fun games and activities. They have also been working on finding one more and one less than each number using number tracks, songs, and hands-on resources.

Willow Class had a wonderful time in art creating colourful salt firework paintings. They used glue to draw firework shapes, sprinkled salt on top, and then added bright paints to watch the colours spread and blend. The children were excited to see their designs come to life and enjoyed exploring the texture and vibrant patterns, making their artwork look just like real fireworks lighting up the night sky.
