Willow Class

Willow class at Northiam C of E Primary and Nursery School is all about learning and having fun through active collaborative and independent enquiry. The children engage in a fully interactive indoor and outdoor learning environment where their own initiated play is blended with a range of responsive teacher directed activities. Our children are immersed in an enabling classroom that nurtures the characteristics of effective learning allowing them to play and explore, actively learn and create and think critically.

We foster an holistic approach towards the children in Willow class and ensure the many paths to learning are open to our littlest people. Responsiveness to our children's diverse learning styles, encouraging questioning and reflection and encompassing multiple layers of learning and experience are an inherent part of developing our children's love for discovery which gives them the best possible start to their unique learning journey.
